So, I was pulling the race head off the daily, and got to removing the motor mount plate and thought about all those questions (You know; I can't get that *%**$#@&## thing outta there!) Thought a how-to with pics might make it easier for us to describe and reference people.

So I took some pics and came up with this;

I thought about putting it in with XtremeRS's write up but it just made the write up that much longer (as well as, sometimes that is the only problem some have). So I put it in its own article (but I'm going to put a link in his article to help tie it together).

Its kind of a tough description with pics and all, but I'm hoping this may help us for "that" question, lol.

Awesome write up. The first time I had to do it I just wiggle the crap out of it and got it out but now I realized if I jack the motor up high enough it will just come right out without a fight.

Actually, to prove a point (and also show that I do, do it that way). I did not disconnect the front roll stop. I left the solid front roll stop attached and it does work. Now for ease of access you can unbolt the front roll stop, or if you want, the rear roll stop. Its been my experience with individuuals on the sites (and my first experience with that mount also) that its kinda a pita to get to that back mount. But it seems to work out for some.

I agree, i prefer to leave the front and rear mounts fully assembled. Now on a solid mount i would unbolt it just to avoid any uneccasary body damage.
