Hello im new to the 2g dsm ive always had supras but i traded my 87 supra ttt for a 96 eagle talon with a 420a but any way has any one done or heard of anybody putting a 2.4l out of a 3g eclipse only putting the 420a head on the 4g64? I've got both cars and the engines look pretty close! or is there a diff 2.4 to go with that will just about bolt in.... i have a turbo 420a and if i use the 2.4 out of lets say a stratus will my turbo manifold still work or will i have to get another one? and on the computer what would i use? Thank you and Any help would be Great!

cannot put a 420a head on a 4g related block. Common sense.
If you want a 2.4L then search for a PT cruiser n/a 2.4 or a 2.4 out of a cloud car. start searching the forums do no blindly ask how.

Over in the neon world this is a very very common swap, and not that hard to do at all. The 2.4 has alot of torque and those motors in the neon can run really good 1/4 mile times N/A. Most people that do that swap also put the 420a intake camshaft in the 2.4 (the exhaust cam is the same in both motors) because the 2.4 has no topend power at all the people that make the 2.4 produce power up top usually are the ones running mid 13s. If your familar with hondas its sorta like the ls vtec, the b18 block has lots of torque and the vtec head flows good up top.
