128512, Intake Runner Bolt / Stud Locations? Posted by 95_ESi_Person, Nov-01-09 05:14 PM
I'm going to try to save some time and aggrivation by putting the runners back on the head before re-installing the head on my car, but I cannot for the life of me remember where all of the studs go.
I do remember this (head's intake side facing me): -2 bolts top center -1 extended thread bolt (stud with a frozen nut) bottom right (got the bolt and wrench stuck in the alternator bracket until head was removed)..
- Can not remember the rest...
Anybody know or have a picture?

IIRC, studs don't matter, but if it does, it were to hold the rear engine lift bracket on. I really don't think it matters.

Agreed... the bracket is on the front of the motor, towards the alternator as you know. The rest do not really matter. I am running ARP SS studs on all locations on my setup now.

sounds good to me. the support brackets are located mid-runner anyway, that will pose no problem.

The support brackets are not necessary either.
