ok now i went and bought some valvoline dexron/micron fluid
then i was reading on www.allpar.com and it said dont use that type on chyrsler trannys use the atf3/4 stuff...
but this morn i was looking at the bottles and it said it was reccomended for chyrsler trannies..
so what should i do.. one said dont use it the bottle says use it....
what do u guys use
any tips on changing it?

My friend, specializes in tranny services (is a full blown Dodge guy), that works at Jerry Ulm Dodge down there at Dale Mabry, told me that the best AT fluid you can buy is that Mopar ATF+. He even specifically said to STAY AWAY anything that has dexron\mercon on it. I'd let him do my service, but I wanna learn how to do it myself. Gives me a chance to 'bond' with the car even more. Hope this help!!!!!

Yup, that's what all the service techs say here also. For some reason, our Chrystler tranny only likes/works with the factory fluid. The dealer I go to has replaced many trannies due to other fluids.
