Ok i been threw all the jeep TB build stuff and search and came up with alot of threads about them but none had what i need to know...
It may seem like a stupid question but i never saw it talked about anywhere...
Ok so i have it almost all together and something seems wierd to me about the TPS. Am i just sapose to use the one from my 420a TB? And there is a snap ring that hold the shaft in place on the 420a TB but im guessing i dont need to use it and cant anyway due to it being too short...

I also wanted to see how many guys are running a jeep TB on their cars right now? And what you have to say about it.

Ive built a few. Work pretty good after making some adjustments for the idle.

You do not need the snap ring.

And yes, use the 420A TPS.

The only worry i have is doing this md will make me have more problems than i already want lol. But than agian that what you get when you mod up a 420a lol.

Its not bad, just adjust the IAC tip and spring return.

You may need a return spring as well.

Yes i did! I printed out both wright ups and been using both to help me build it. But hey didnt say anything about the TPS. So i just wanted to ask.

Ok well thats the one i think i been following. Only part im confused on now is using new bolts to put on the TB. Do i need to tap the intake mani?

Nope. If you just buy these bolts; M8x25 1.25 pitch Allen head bolts they will thread right in to your existing holes.

I got my bolts at a combo of lowes and home depot. They fit freakin perfect. As far as the throttle body goes, at least to me, it feels a lot more responsive and a bit more torque. For the price I paid for everything - $4.00 about two months ago, can't beat it. Liked it so much I'm modding another one right now for my rs-t. Good luck.

They definitely make a nice difference on the butt dyno. I need to finish mine so that I can throw it on the engine before I get the car running.
