hey guys currently im doing a 2.4l swap in my 2g eclipse and i remembered seeing a write up on here of the swap but not i cant seem to find it ive been on here all night and still nothing. also, i have a question as to what the 2.4 block is refered to, i know the 2.0 block is refered to as a 420a but is it the same for the 2.4 because im trying to look up info in it and all i get is everything but the chrysler 2.4 and does anyone know wher i can get pics or vids of the swap in the car?

So you are currently doing a 2.4 swap and have no idea what the 2.4 motor is? That indicates you are not doing the swap but barely scratching the surface of your homework.

The 2.4 code is EDZ.

You may have to brush up on your searching skills because there is a ton of information already covered in the wiki and in the forum.

What 2.4 are you even planning on swapping in? The srt 2.4, the sohc 2.4, or the modded 2.4?

The NA SOHC 2.4 from the Breeze, Cirrus, Stratus, and PT Cruiser is what works. You use the 2GNT head.

I think that 2.4 in the cloud cars were DOHC. As long as we are thinking of the Chrysler model.

Mitsu made the SOHC 2.4, the 4G64 that also came in the N/A Spyders.
