i just installed a stage 2 turbo kit with a 60 trim turbo and i just realize that it doesn't make no sense to have a big turbo and to been able to use its real power. so i am planing on upgrade my engine internals. i want to used the best in the market and that way get at least 450 whp and 650whp out of these engine. i need some help because I need a list of all parts that i will need to achieved this. that way i will now how much i will spend on it.

Yup there are so many combinations/variations. Gotta do your homework and if you have a more specific question, ask then.

10.5s would create alot of knock for a high boost car, you want 450hp be prepared to spend 10k

I have around 5k-6k spent on engine and transmission. Should be able to hold up to 550+whp. I could have done it for less if I had looked for better deals, but didnt wanna waste to much time.

Your question is kinda general and has been discussed before, but the like Mark said, there are many combinations possible, 8.8:1,9.6:1,10.5:1. It really depends on what you want and how committed you are to this project...

Our engines are not that sensitive toward knock (though it is about a good tune). Even at 570whp with 30lbs of boost (on a 10.5 engine), the engine is not knock limited (albeit this is on C-16. But I did the 486whp with 3 gallons of C-16 and 3 gallons of 93. Still not knock limited). There are also a few on here who have run 10.5 comp on their daily (turbo) with no problems.

And no, you shouldn't need to spend that much.

Ive already spent over 10k in parts, and i know you have these cars aren't cheap to turbo right. I dont think hes looking to spend that much so 10.5s would probably be out of he question for him, I didnt say it wasnt possible but without a good tune you will destroy an engine.

Guys have turbo'd these for hundreds. Now with the level the OP is talking, you'll spend more (not $9500 more, but more).

He's building his bottom end (i.e. built engine). Whether he buys 8.8, 9.6, 10.5, 12.5 the cost for slugs will be the same.
