Front and rear motor mounts are available, if I go with just the front motor mount, will this cure most of my wheel hop problem and keep vibration to a minimum? Anyone else doing this? I'm leaning towards not using the rear mount because vibration would obviously increase and I understand it's a bitch to install, you need 4 feet of ratchet extension or something :P. Anyway TIA

I just took my car out for a spin after inserting the Energy Suspension motor mounts inserts, and all I can say is WOW! Well worth the $26.00 I paid for them from Summit Racing. I did both the front and rear; now the car drives like a whole new car. The rear insert was harder than the front, but not all that hard. Just take out the battery and the washer fluid reservoir; this will save you a lot of trouble. Not saying that it wouldn’t be worth it to just do the front, but I would do the back as well.

i drove around with just the front for a few days, and i still had minimal hoppage. not as noticeable like before when she danced like brittany shakin tha a$$. after the rear, vibration increased (not that bad) and the wheel hop stopped. the 1--->2 shift is much better also since im not dancin.

vibration, who cares about vibration? j/k... anyways, isnt there a few different inserts made for our cars? like a softer one thats still better than stock that he can use to get wheelhop to a minimum and not get as much vibration as the urethane ones?

Coo' I read someones how-to on installing both mounts and the rear mount just looks time consuming, but still maybe only like an hours work, I guess what I read was wrong. $26? I'm in!

Whenever i really burn ut hard it feels like the wheels are hoping.....is this the wheel hop you are talking about? Also how hard on a scale of 1-10 are the front mounts to install?
