Hey,

For the mechanical tensioner, the two lower arms that connect to the block, what size bolts go in there?

Do I have the bolt and they go to something else? I cant think what would they go to. The holes dont look threaded on the block.

EDIT: You should have the bolts. Forgot what they are from but you have them. Do not forget to trim the rear timing cover otherwise the timing bracket will not sit flush and it will fail eventually.

I found the answer as soon as I posted this.

Keep it for search purposes. The kit says nothing about coming with the two bolts, but they are included.

Still dont know what size they are though.

After closer examination I believe the bolts I used were the ones that hold the OEM bracket containing the tensioner pulley to the block.

I performed my conversion a year and a half ago and I do not think my partsdinosaur kit included any.

Hmm, I will check on this.

I was just told by a local member that his kit did include them.

Right on, again I bought my kit a while ago so a revision may have occurred. Either way I am picturing the OE tensioner pulley bracket in my head and it has two bolts that hold the lower half to the block which should be usable for the lower arms of the new mechanical bracket.

I installed my mechanical tensioner not too long ago and the kit didn't include any new bolts, I had to reused the ones from the old tensioner.

Yeap. My kit did not come with any bolts. You use 2 from the OEM tensioner and the other 2 are the motor mount plate bolts.

Cool!

I have those bolts :P

They in a ziploc bag over... there.
