When I took it off for my rebuild I labeled the bag lower mount bracket but I can't figure out where it goes or what its for. I don't know if it helps but those numbers are 4667441. I think its a part number but when I looked nothing came up. Any ideas will help.

I think it's the piece that the downpipe bolts to on the front of the block. Not sure, but that's kind of what it looks like to me.

I recognized it because I found it in a box a few years back and had no idea what it was, so I had to figure it out. It's the second most useless bracket on a modded 2GNT and the first most asked about.

I'm gonna vote for the brackets that "support" the intake manifold. No purpose whatsoever other than to frustrate me when I'm trying to deal with sensors on that side of the engine or pull the manifold off and I've forgotten that they're there

Yup, was just about to type that same part when I saw your post. I believe it is there for long term intake support, as well as wire management. But all gone off of any of my cars.
