125958, oil in spark plug holes w/ new gaskets. Posted by rshissler, Jun-04-09 08:26 PM
So i noticed today that there was oil in the spark plug wire ends and some in the holes. I know that its cuased by the gaskets inside there goin bad, but i just replaced them less then 15k ago. Also at high RPMs i can smell oil/burning oil. Figured that might be from bad valve stem seals. I cant find oil leakin anywhere besides in the plugs. I checked all the valve cover bolts and they are all torqued down right. Could the head be warped at the valve cover mating surface? Anyway to possibly fix it?

i'd try removing the VC, checkn the gaskets, puttn em back on, and torquing them in sequence slowly and to spec. i'd try that first
