125901, Engine just slowly loosing power... Posted by clipse0809, Jun-01-09 07:44 PM
I fixed the last problem which was a sensor issue so thanks for all the replies and everything fellas...But today i started the car and it seems to miss a little but she drives....The problem is that when i begin to accelerate the car begins to starve or buck a little and it takes a little while for it to gain speed... The problem has gotten worse over the last few days...I'm not to sure what this problem is any thoughts?
Thanks again Fellas

Have you checked fuel pressure yet?

Do all the routine checks first. IE; plugs, wires, coil resistance, fuel pressure, yada yada yada...
Remember the first rule of diagnosing things is KISS, keep it simple stupid. 9 times out of 10 when you've just fixed a major issue you'll find that during the process it fouled a spark plug when you were trying to get the car to start.
If everything checks out ok and you don't have any CEL's, then it's time to look into things a little deeper. I've had a few times where the injectors just got gunked up and all they needed was a little cleaning. I've got my own special recipe for cleaning injectors in the car }(
Here's a link to my personal "Fuel Coctail"
