Welcome to the forums!

For turbo kits, you have HRC & Star... here's the links:

For 3g's, you're looking at stage 2. Your CAI and Headers have to go, though... the turbo kit comes with it's own manifold and intake.

most of the peeps on the board have the HRC turbo set up. and others have the star setup. There are a few custom kits out there like Korys. HRC has it's good points and bad points but for what i know they have the best tech support. I like the star kit due to the turbo they have. You have to decide if you want to go all out stage 5 or just boost it around the streets. If your new to turbo's i'd go with the HRC stage 2. If you have experience with turbo's then go with the star kit. But you will have to decide on what you want out of your car..... I think most peeps will agree with me on this

for an auto either the star or hrc ... i seriously dont recommend anything above 7 psi on a stock auto though .. for christ sakes auto trannies die under the 140 hp knife ( i killed one and so did countless others )... now take a 250 hp busido blade and your asking for trouble ... look into beefing up the coolant lines and the seals that keep the fluid running .. level 10 or b&m should help your tranny enough to survive the rigors of 10 pounds or more ... just my 2 cents .. u could boost more on the stock tranny ... but why ask for problems ..

Hey Oracle,

You know Joe(Shogun98RS) was running 18 psi on his stock AT. He's got boost control issues right now so it's down to a "low" 10psi. The tranny seems to be holding up just fine.

I know what you mean though ... my tranny seems worse off and it can't be seeing more than 160hp at the crank. Another reason I'm ripping the sucker out and throwing in a manual in a week or 2. Maybe some trannies come out of the factory a little better than others. Who knows.
