125645, Will these injectors work? Posted by xtrmavngr, May-17-09 05:05 PM
Im hoping you guys can help, im getting ready to send a set of RC eng injectors to be cleaned and balanced but dont want to spend the money if they wont be the right size. They are 245cc. MODS are: Ported and polished intake manifold, smoothed combustion chambers, stage 2 crower cams with valve springs, AEM cam gears, modern Performance 60mm TB, Stock fuel rail, stock fuel pump, underdrive crank pulley. Im also running the usual header, 3'' header back exhuast, CAI. Whatever injectors I do run im gonna use an SAFC. So will the 245cc's work. Should I go a little bit bigger? I was thinking maybe some Ford 28lbers. Im gonna stay NA with NOs for awhile and dont really feel like taking em off til I turbo. So suggestions? Any idea what kind of power im gonna see? Thanx..

Really? How can you say that if you don't even know if they are high-impedance(saturated) or low-impedance injectors(peak & hold)?
Bad advice is worse than no advice...
OP- Here are some calculators to help you figure out "how much mad powa will these wicked cool injectors add?"

Sorry, these are High Impedance 245Cc injectors. I used em on a mostly stock 420a set up like 5 years ago so they will work for my application but they've been sitting since then. Just wondering if the size was right for my mods or if I should go a touch bigger. Also what are the chances this thing will pass smog with the crower2's?

No problem. I took the stockers into the 170whp's at mid 80's duty cycle.

I passed CT smog twice with Crower 2's. Just don't have any cel's.
