First off I want to say once again thanks everyone for their help on here. I have almost completely rebuilt my first motor and could not have done it with out this site and the endless hours of searching and finding information on here. As just mentioned I usually find all my answers by just searching but I wanted your opinions on this timing. I have read and read how to and to make sure the timing is on but after a dozen + times this is the closest I keep coming. As you can see in the pictures the crank spocket is barely off and the cams are lined up, but if I line the crank spocket dead on the cams are slightly off. Is this timing acceptable? Or do I need to keep trying? if so any other tips that can help? I have been using Corbin rebuild guild to get this far and I don't want to have to retime it once the motor is installed. Thank you

Thats fine. Finish putting it back together and drive it

most cars can be off as much as a tooth on the crank and still run and drive fine with no noticeable differences.

This is good for an NA setup but would this be fine running a high boost application? I thought it had to be dead on if so

When you deck the head the timing on the cams will not be perfect unless you install cam gears, zero the timing on the cams and then adjust timing from there.

When the head gets milled down, it changes the overall height of the motor and the timing belt is made for stock height. When you tension the belt, it pulls the slack out of the belt on the back side of the motor causing the timing to get retarded about 2*.

Freelance you mention my motor would be about 2* off, how much performance difference will this make on a stock rebuild if any? Would it be worth buying a set of adjustable cam gears even on a stock rebuild? or should I be fine?

with as little off and assuming its straight with the head to begin with you wont be 2* off right now
