It seems that the Ti retainers are what really make the kit expensive.

I was wondering if this spring are really good for use with a turbo setup using stock retainers. Will they hold up just as good as if using the Ti retainers? Any info on this would be of much help, thanxs in advance!

crower's are great. Buy them, you'll need em. as far as the retainers go, not necessary. yea, they lighten up the valvetrain weight a few grams, but only really worth it if you're turning more than 6k rpms daily. stockers will work fine.

So if Im running crower 2s should I get the retainers too? Or just the springs. Planning on taking motor past 7 on the track and probably 6.5 once or twice on a daily basis.

I have the springs and retainers. Good investment.

Umm I not sure if you ment to type 7k cuz mines redlines at 7k..
So if I were to use stocker cams and not reving more than 7k factory red line. I am fine right?

But if I added some cams later on and still stayed on 7k, would i need the retainers?

you'll be fine. Retainers are just an advancement in valvetrain weight reduction. Get them or don't, up to you.

the ti retainers don't hold any better than stock steel units, they just weigh less which only really matters when you're going 8000+ rpms on a regular basis.

Double bubble of agreement. Not necessary, and an expense that you would see very limited gains on.
