So you deffinately are a newbie.

No one here is going to give you any advice on parts to use on the street for street racing.

If you want to race, take it to the track legally. Maybe you should reconsider screwing around on the streets.

Then call MSD.

Street racing is for losers with penis issues who watched TFATF too many times.

You are trash now, you might as well just leave the site.

Wow. Too cool for the track? Work on your car and you will hit more than 80 mph and run better than a 17.

And honestly I wouldnt put launch control on anything not turbo, supercharged, or big displacement. Thats just me talkin though.

Just gentle guidance here.

The site members (in general) do not condone street racing. It is juvenile at its foremost and arrogent stupidity of the highest degree. Ask that guy Mask from Tapout how cool he feels now (or the drunk that ran with him). Or that Hogan kid. Very fortunate that they didn't take any innocent bystanders with them.

You wanna show me what a good driver you are? Come to the track and I'll kick your ass with ANYTHING you bring. I've seen plenty of snot nosed punks talking shit at the track and then getting their balls handed to them on a platter because they really don't know how to do anything except burnouts and bullshit.

Running on a hardtop with innocent people on their way to the store or some crap. Gee, way to go tough guy, you know how to put my brothers, sisters and friends at risk. Whoopdee Fuckin' Do.

Re-read through your post and check out the highlighted parts. Then give it some thought before you post up again.

Just some gentle guidance

listen guys... i respect your opinions, i really do. but i put as much time and effort in my car as the next guy. at the end of the day all i want is for people to see my car and respect it for what it is. i mean really... the last thing i wanted to do is piss people off, which apparently ive already done that. fact of the matter is... no matter what you say or do... there is still going to be a million kids here getting info from this site just to go hook up their car and race where ever the opportunity arrises. and you can write me off and try to embarrass me all you want, but thats not going to make anyone stop racing. if anything it just shows how you think ur better than everyone else who doesnt have a full blown race car, since you apparently have the time slips to prove it, and how much time you have to sit around and think of cool things to say to bash a guy just trying to make his car something hes proud of. but whatever, if eclipserstturbo= riced out street racer to you it really doesnt matter to me. i know i put my money, blood and sweat into something that i enjoy and it dont matter what you think of me. you can continue with this for as long as you want but ive said what i have to say.

Doesn't make it safe, right or acceptable. Mommy quote, "Just because other people are jumping off a bridge, does that mean you have to too?"

Much better post though. I think you are now clear where we stand on street racing (that's where I kinda get irritated). It may be going on, but condoning it only helps it grow. Please feel free to interact and post up, just leave the street racing behind.

Your going to get more respect from 100 guys at a local track then your going to get from 100 people minding their own business who are now at risk on the streets because of racing. Everyone puts blood, sweat, money and tears into their cars, its all part of the game, but street racing is not. You want to show someone your work, pull in a parking lot and pop your hood, explain your mods, just dont do it on the street...one day you will get caught and the only blood, sweat and tears you will have is when big black Jimmy is fucking you in your ass in jail.

ok so i just joined this forum...i have been in other dsm forums but this is the only dedicated one to 2g/nt...i just ran into this conversation and i was wondering??? can't the 2step be used to launch off the line at a track as well if its drag racing? i mean i understand putting down street racing and i completely agree. i dont think that is responsable whatsoever mainly because you put lives at risk. but what if the information was used to use the 2 step at the track?? just wondering....

Haha I believe this is the most rediculous posting on this site i have seen so far. Reminds me of all the little kids on srt-4 forums bragging that their dick is bigger. haha. Street racing doesn't fly around here. If you do it, its your deal, but save yourself the embarrassment and flaming and keep it to yourself. and to the OP (original poster) might as well dump this screen name and start with a new one because you've ruined your name on here already.

This isn't me guys,LMAO

I'm totally against street racing.
I've been taught very young before my teens to keep it on the track.

I assume you also own a honda too
