124969, Lower Intake Porting

I am in the process of porting my lower intake plenum, basically not so much for the increase in port size, but to remove the excessive casting dimples.

so far i have ran various sizes and grits of flex hones, through each port, and have come up with a smooth finish. However 2 of the runners have excessive lumps left on them in various spots of the port. wondering what type of bit or stone you guys go in there with, and if you use a dremel or a drill?

when I honed I used my 18v dewalt drill. like I said it did a very nice job, smoothing out the runner, I just want to remove the excessive bumps left behind from the craptastic casting mold chrysler used.

I would go with an aggressive dremel bit to wipe out the lumps, then hit it again like you had previously with stones to smooth it out.
