there's this one part on the injen intake that's suppose to bolt on. Did yours fit with ease? cuz mine doesn't seem to want to move in close enough to get into that bolt, and i'm afraid of leaving it loose because of the thing that it's already suppose to be holding down will be fluttering around loose.

unbolt the battery tie down, and push it toward the dr. side door (corner). that might be the problem.

also, make sure the intake doesnt rest on the cam angle sensor.

Let me guess the bracket that bolts to the head? Just bend it, the metal is soft enough that you can bend it into place and then bolt in with ease.

i'll try both tomorrow when there is light.

there have been a lot of people have problems with their intakes rubbing on the battery (I know my AEM did when i first installed it). I had to take off the battery cover to keep it from rubbing. I don't know how the injen is, but you may have to do the same.

Oh and if it rubs on the battery tie down bar... which mine did I covered the bar with vaccuum hose so it didn't scratch the metal anymore.
