I've got the electronic autometer oil pressure guage. Where did you guys put the sensor? and did you just use a T tap?

Yep I have two T fitting back there one for oil pressure one for oil temp. Eventually I'll put a fitting in the pan for the temp. But for now it's T'd in the back with the tsock sender.

did you just cut the line then? or were you able to just loosen it and add the Ts in there?

If you go to my website and look under "gauge install", I have a detailed write up on what to do and where to get the parts. Check it out.

One other thing. The stock sender is a pain. I had to go and get a oil pressure socket. If you need to borrow it or ned a hand let me know.

Here is how you do it. This is the pic of a Neon engine, your block is the same. Where we have the external cylinder head oiling line, you would put your sending unit. The "T" is just a water pipe "T" and you can get that at an hardware store, and the bushings to reduce the size if required.

You don't need that line. That doesn't have anything to do with the gauge you're adding.

why dont you just take off the factory oil pressure dummy sensor crap and screw in the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge? I didnt even get a CEL code...

Leave both, because you will see the idiot light long before you notice the oil pressure gauge is reading "0"

On the Neon you can get it from underneith, but on yours, I think you have the right idea.

I did it from underneath... I don't think you could get at it from the top with the manifold in the way... I could be wrong, but soon I am switching the nylon line so I'll see what room is there from the top if you haven't allready done it.
