124078, Crank sprocket clearance Posted by dj_lethrow, Feb-15-09 04:45 PM Installed my crank sprocket today. Took a picture of where I slipped the feeler gauge in. The oil pump has a little lip, but I measured from outside of that lip as you can see in the picture and got .052 inches for clearance. Would this be acceptable or do I need to be measuring from the inside lip with a greater or lesser clearance? | |

I didn't see it just scanning over it real quick but i stuck a feeler gauge on my new engine on the stand and it was .052 also. Tight fit at .052 but it went in.
