i know i know.. they have the manuals.. but this comp is too slow.. and cant search

code
3 -- what is it
and
9 -- same

All the codes are two digits, so are you sure you read it right? You should get a 55 at the end. Here is a link with the codes, but it does not show any code 39. Good luck.

All codes are two digits - there is a short pause between each digit.
You probably got a 12 and a 55 - http://www.2gnt.com/www/files/pcmcode.htm See for yourself.
