Hey all, I only have one cyberdyne air fuel ratio gauge right now, and I'm tired of having a hole in my gauge pos. I need a black faced (to match the cyberdyne) 2 1/16" gauge. This will be my last gauge that I plan on getting, so which one would be useful and also easy to install? I don't plan on any more major mods to my car. A list of mods is below:

Ported Head
Milled Head (10.6:1 compression)
AEM Cam Gears
AEM CAI
Hotshot Headers
Magnaflow Exhaust
AFX UDP

I know an EGT is good, but costs too much with the probe and everything. I want something useful around 50 bucks that is easy to install. Not battery voltage either because I don't really need that. My battery dies every two years without warning anyways. Thanks.

electric oil pressure

I would go oil pressure, but mechanical are more accurate than electrical. ASutometer has several that you could get to match your cyberdyne I'm sure.

Thanks, I found SPI black electric oil pressure gauges with white letters. I think that would look almost OEM.

Why is electric not as accurate as mechanical? If I assume right, with mechanical, you have to actually run a line into your car (which has oil going through it right)? And an electric just sends a signal through a wire right? How hard are these to install - anyone have a how to? Could installing this actually cause me to leak oil or something if I don't do it right, or it deteriorates over time? Thanks.

I shouldn't say not as accurate, just not as quick to react the mechanical ones react veryt quickly to changes the electric ones are a bit slower. The difference in accuracy probably isn't that big of a deal or the reaction...

But yes you have to run a nylon line into the car. As long as you run it so it doesn't rub agaiunst anythign or you don't put dtress on the line you'll be fine.
