The factory ECU limits RPM - use MegaSquirt to raise the limiter, as well as squeeze some more power out of it.

You'll need bigger cams if you want to make any power up there, possibly some port work.

search for threads and info in the wiki from bulletdsm. he has the fastest NA of anyone.

what is megasquirt i am not a big motor guy sorry so i dont know a whole a just know how to race hope u can help me out again

well here is the problem i drive into the corner in third gear it does nor have enough rpm to pull me out of the corner as fast as i need it to if i go into the corner in second gear i bounce of the rev limiter before the corner witch kills my speed in the corner is there away to get ride of the rev limiter

you could do a neon trans swap. same trans, same gears but the final drive is different.
