Ive heard great things about this stuff but i just want to check before i use it. ive read that you do things in this order:
1)disconnect vaccum on the intake side that runs to the valve cover 2)stick it in the can, rev to about 2500 and suck the can dry
3)turn the car off and let it sit for 10-15 mins
4)drive it to blow all the shit out
5)change the oil

if theres a better way to do this let me know before i F*** anything up! thanks

I've found easiest way to do it is using the vacumm line from the EGR to Intake manifold, and you can do it controlled at idle and not worry about bogging or hurting the engine.
Vacuumm line for PCV is to big.


Then go for a nice spirited drive after you've sucked it all in.

Change oil.

no it really dosent take that long 30 seconds maybe, you'll be suprised.

I've only used seafoam once and honestly, I did not feel any difference in overall performance; it just cleaned the shit out of some of those nasty carbon deposits, while smoking out my entire neighborhood. I only used one can though, so that 'could' explain the not noticing any kind of difference ordeal.

Anyways, some of the guys over at dsmtuners swear by this stuff, and then some people I've talked to believe the stuff is utter crap. I just tried it out because of all the talk... I ran it through the EGR port on the intake manifold while keeping the engine alive by giving it slight throttle by hand on the throttle cable. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes then went for a drive around town. You'll have to change your spark plugs because it fouls them up pretty bad, as well as change your oil.

I poured 1/3 of Seafoam can into crankcase and the rest into full tank of gas. When the fuel gauge dwindled I sprayed a full can on Mopar CCC into throttle body as directed on can. BTW, Mopar juice is cheaper than Seafoam.

ive never herd of this stuff whats it do?

It is a petroleum product that is supposed to clean away carbon deposits on whatever it touches. There is a huge thread on dsmtuners about it. I have never used it in my car but it works wonders every summer when i bring my jet skis out of hibernation.
