I found a flywheel that weighs like 7 pounds. If my calculations are correct, if the stock one weighs 30 I think, that would give about 40 some hp right, if the 2 hp per pound works out?

I think 30 lbs is a little high but I may be wrong. I think my clutchmasters modular clutch and flywheel was about 25 - 30 lbs.

What year is your car? If you have a modular clutch then you can't replace the flywheel unless you change the whole clutch setup to a non modular one.

Change to the older style flywheel and clutch, I think that is all but you may want to see if anyone else knows of anything else and posts about it. . . Where's Stan when you need him.

Check out http://www.howellautomotive.com Look unnder the Neon section. Fidanza has both modular and non-modular flywheels that take non-modular clutches. I plan to switch to the non-modular fhywheel set up and loose my flexplate.
