Im storin my car for the winter does anyone have a lis t of things i should do to store it keep in mind in in Canada...a bit cold

I am in NH. Cold, not as cold as you, but still cold. Always store mine. I have since 96, when I got her. Heres my strategy;

1-Disconnect battery. Or keep it attached to one of those automatic trickle chargers

2-1 bottle of dry gas in a FULL tank of gas. Storing with a full tank leaves little to no room for moistire to collect in the gas/tank

3-Car cover

4-If possible, start her once a week. I do religiously and let her idle to full operating temp. Upon this start, when turning the key, wait until you hear the fuel pump stop to assure you are fully "primed".

5-Coolant flush prior to storing with fresh antifreeze.

5- More of a pain in the ass, but if possible, put her on blocks. This eliminates flat spots formed on tires and keeps the suspension at full rest. I do not do this, just didn't know how anal you are.

Hm. My NT stood outside half apart for three months and when I put everything back togther it fired up instantly and idled perfect and ran perfect.

All I needed was to re-lube the brakes.
