95 clipse clipse RS

hi all, something just drove me crazy..

this is my problem, my friend borrowed my car today. Suddenly he called and said that the stereo doesn't work (it was working fine several hours ago..) then he came to my place with my car and we started to check the car together.

First, i found out that my car stalled at start (never happened before). it dies with check engine light on (about 0.5 secs) if i didnt press the gas pedal.

Second, when i started my car, all lights on my car was like "zapped" they flashed, looks like off for miliseconds and then turned on normally again... my automatic doorlock clicked too. it made me afraid.

Third, i check the fuse box and changed the radio fuse, which is 10mA or 10 ampere because we found out that the fuse was blown. i thought it would fix my problem with the stereo (my head unit) but nothing happened, it still won't work.

Forth, the fuel pressure light is sometimes turned on, only for like 1-2 seconds... and then it's gone. very weird.

Fifth, after the car started, whenever i tried to put it on D (im auto), the car didnt respond for awhile and suddenly jumped... surge... wth never happened before.

it seems that everything came out altogether, that what made me frustated. :(

***i have a spare IAC ready to be installed, however, i read the post that says that the IAC has to be at normal position to be installed, i think mine is not at the normal position right now, do i have to put it back to normal?

Any suggestion about this??
Your help is hell appreciated

the lights make me think its a ground problem. do the keydance and find out what the CEL is.

There is no such light on a 2GNT. The ECU doesn't know, doesn't monitor, and doesn't regulate the fuel pressure.

my bad, it was the oil pressure, not the fuel.

what did your friend do with the car while he had ir :rolleyes

it sounds like the tranny is slipping a bit, check the flid for sure.

oil pressure light only comes on when you have like, 1 litre of oil in there so check ur oil. I'd check the grounds coming off the battery.

I also reset the ecu when shit like this happens, electrical or little idle problems and shit like that.

Sounds like your friend really messed your car up bad. You should follow the golden rule from now on:

The two things in life you never lend out are your woman and your car.

can't resist as i'm a graphic designer.

anyway, did my keydance,
1,2,5,5

12: pcm disconnected : nevermind
55: end of probs : nevermind

basically nothing wrong here am i right?

HOWEVER!!!!
i found out that i have only small amount of oil left, not even 20%! or maybe 15%
i realized i have a leak.

If this was a slow leak and you have been this low on oil for a while...it is most likely time for a new motor. But you never know I guess. And I hope you were kidding about your stereo problems being caused by the oil (I think you were, but who knows). Sounds like a bad ground, as Dino said. Easiest place to start is the battery (make sure they are tight and nothing would be causing a short, such as the battery tie down or hood). If it's not this, then you have some searching to do.
