Can you give me the EXACT specifics on your K&N Filter?

I know its a universal 3" cone but I need all the diameters and stuff.

Another filter that a few people have is the Hyper filter 2.5" that fits perfectly on our stock piping. $17 + $5 shipping you cant go wrong.

I dont know I think a filter is a filter but its your choice for a name brand.

Does the K&N come with the adaptor??? Or do I have to buy that too?

Adapter? Dude you just slide it inside your pipiing and than just clap the SOB down.

Like EvuLFleA said, just slide the K&N filer over the intake pipe and tighten the clap (comes with the filter). That simple.

what do you do to clean it? does it sound like a cai? i would be interested if it didnt make noise

To clean it I run the sweeper over the filter, K&N also has a re-charge kit that I use to thoroughly clean it now and then. I've never had a CAI so I don't know what they sound like (anyone?), but it is louder than stock from ~3500 up.

The filter with the adapter on ebay was probably for the turbo Eclipse. They have to install the adapter to allow the MAS to use a cone filter.
