I'm new at the whole hooking up your car thing and I was just wondering if it was possible to put a 6 speed manual transmission into a 1995 Eclipse RS? Oh, also I was thinking about engine swapping, would a Lancer Evo turbo engine fit my car? Thanx a lot for the help.

Off the top of my head I dont know of any 6 speeds that will fit. I also know for a fact the the Evo engine will not fit with out spending lots of money. It is a 4g63 mitsubishi engine. Ours is a 420a chrysler and it is totally different than the Evo's and GST/X engines. I dont see any benifits from doing this swap if you want a 4g engine in your car your best bet would be get a GST. I would say toss a turbo on you RS.
