122139, Idle problems ..... Posted by Blakkjak, Sep-12-06 06:19 PM
Ok, So I replaced my intake a few weeks back and since then my car has been idling at 1500 and 2k when ac is on.I did some searching on the forums and I was sure vacuum leak was the culprit.
I remember bumping a few hoses that were already cracking so I figured it was time to replace them, I ordered a akimoto RS hose kit and installed it today.Started the car up and BAM! everything was running smooth....until I got to a stop sign and car was idling between 800-300 like it was going to cut off.
Yes I've searched but I cant seem to find a good answer..Any help? Im stumped and my car almost cutting off every stop is embarrassing, HELP ME PLEASE!!

I checked and made sure the intake was on tight, didnt remove anything else just installed that...the mechanic suggested the iac.
