ok ive been reading alot about problems that start with this evil sign. I have it on, when i turn the key, but only while the car IS NOT running. So i only see it for a couple of seconds toghether with the seatbelt, battery,brake and SRS light. i just put oil, but i do have a vc leak, help me out here. :)

That is normal dude. Your fine.

You only need to worry about that fucker if its on during operation.

WHEW! i was starting to worry about every little whirring sound, thinking i messed something up. Would investing on a windage tray for the oil pan be a good thing, just to prevent anything from happening later on? how much do they run for?

Think about it. The oil light comes on when there is low oil pressure. When the engine is not running, the oil pump is not turning, and therefore the oil pressure would be zero.

HMM I DID NOT KNOW THAT! thank you sir, but you would think i'de stay pressurized like the fuel system no? the windage trays and crank scrapers are the same thing right?
