12132, Would I hit 12 secs?
Posted by 1FastEclipse, Jan-15-02 04:30 AM
When I get back from basic training, I plan on putting a ton of things in my car. I'm just curious if after I put in everything in the list below (somethings I already have) if I will hit 12 secs or lower. Thanks

-Short Ram intake
-Pacesetter catback with aerospeed muff
-test pipe
-afx under drive pully
-Engine rebuild kit
-75 shot nos
-stage 2 or 3 turbo kit

You would have to spray a higher shot than that. Most nitrous guys hit 14's and higher shots get you in to the 13's. You would need a few more mods to hit 12's.

Nitrous and turbo will not get 12 sec.

Driving practice will.

Go at the mods slowly and methodically. It pays off in the long run.

If you learn the car well you will get your timeslips. If you throw parts at it randomnly and all at once you will get a expensive heap of parts that will frustrate you and is still slow.
