do our throttle bodies have a Base Idle speed set screw?

i searched and found nothing by the way.

we have an AIC. Its controlled by the ecu.
We have a STOP screw, but its non adjustable from the factory.

actually it IS adjustable with a torx bit, but its not a good idea unless you have a 2.4.

on mine its not. or wasnt (60mm now). I have 3 tbs laying around 2 have the opening Punched ( like with a punch) so that you cant adjust it.

No, we do not have a BISS.

there is a set screw, which is the keep the butterfly valve partially open to prevent jerky acceleration, and the AIC has to be adjusted using a drb3 tool at the dealer. or you can guess and check which could eventually leading to a messed up AIC motor/plunger. I would know.

if memory serves me correctly, on the 95's it was left to be adjustable, after that they plugged it.

the reason i ask is b/c my rpms stay at 2000 ish and not at 1000 as it's supposed to and i wanted to adjust that w/ the BISSS

Try fixing the vacuum leak or replacing the IAC motor.

my IAC motor was fine when i had my stock intake manifold, now after installing it, it idles at 2000 rpm and the exhaust smells really rich.

you have a vacuum leak somewhere. when installing intake manifolds, the likely culprits are the egr pipe -> manifold junction, ant the tb -> intake manifold junction.

problem fixed!!! there was a leak in the gasket between the intake manifold and throttle body. So i custom made a gasket and it now idles at 1000 rpm.
