about a week ago a bolt of lightning struck my back yard and ever since then when i turn my high beams on my cd player cuts off. This happens about 2-3 times out of 5. im not sure what i need to check so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
Edit: Battery light occasionally turns on and off while on highway

Damn. Could be that there is some kind of short in your system now. Perhaps some EMP-style action... like in the movies. Never heard of any lightning strike-related problems. Weird.

my guess is that its some loose wire. the ecu would have gotten fried by an emp before anything else, esp a relay.
cars can get hit without much problems.

so if it is a loose wire, what would be the best way to determine where it is at? i really appreciate all the help guys Thank you
