I've had my UPD installed for a couple of years now, but it keeps destroying my belts. My belts last less than a year and they start to wear away on one end like it's rubing on something. Any body else have this issue? Anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

Usually ts not the UDP, but the rensioner pulley failing that causes those symptoms.

check the tension on the belt, and also check the UDP for any inward dents toward the belt. Those UDP dent easily. I had a small dent toward the belt on the rim of the pulley and it was chewing up one side of the belt.

Is everything lined up well? I agree with dino, its a bad pulley or a bent bracket.

Also check if the UDP is lined up well, or if its torqued in correctly. Mine was shredding belts. Had the UDP tightened, no more problems.

Yea, 105 is the magic number. Make sure it's on tight.
