I recently noticed the hose that connects the PCV valve to the valve cover often makes a rattling nose. When I touch the hose while's it's making this nose, I feel the hose vibrating. The rattling/vibrating is off and on. The PCV valve is new from Autozone and the hose is in good condition. What could be causing this noise/vibration?

Is this normal? Or the result of a cheap pcv valve?

the PCV valve should rattle when you shake it. One way I use to check to see if it needs to be replaced or not. If it doesn't shake it's usually getting gummy with residue and isn't working right.
I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you just changed it.
