Quite an easy task to accomplish, happy it fixed your overheating problem.

About the radiator hoses - they actually have pre-cut hoses for our specific application (no cutting) at NAPA for about $12 for either upper or lower hoses.

Judging from the boxes, they're from vatozone.

yes autozone, u should be able to see the part number if u look at the boxes, one was $25.99, one was $7.99

Thats strange, hopefully it'll work the same. I did notice that there was a TU85 for $7.99 and also a temp switch but I just got what I saw on your pictures. And also, how bad were you overheating? What did your temp gauge needle read? Mines is almost to the top (H). I've already changed the thermostat and I'm hoping its the temp switch. I had the coolant temp. sensor changed last year so I dont think it should that.

When my car was overheating I had a clog in my radiator. Ours are very small, I got a ebay one holds 3 times as much cool juice. My needle never moved past 1/2 way and I spent 3 hours in bumper to bumper traffic in 90+ heat just last week.

its pretty straight forward simple stuff, considering i was able to do it and i suck at pretty much well... anything, but i feel the pictures are really the most important part, helps for referencing to what parts and stuff if there are ones that can show the parts and where they go in relation to others

Just to add to this thred... Yes your gauge can work properly and your fans wont.

one sensor is for your ECU, which in turn controls the fans. If your running rich (warm up all the time) and then you start to over heat, this is mostlikely the culprit.
