I just got done tearing mine apart and reassembling and the one i took off way a steel gasket. It should have been a factory gasket, I know that I haven't taken off the exhaust manifold, and it looked like it had been there since initial installment.

Yes, they make a multi-layer steel gasket for the exhaust manifold. Should be able to get one through Satan (dealer).

I'm using a Victor Reinz, and the only reason for that is because it was supplied through my employer when I was working at an engine rebuilding shop. I try to stay away from anything felpro as much as possible.
