Ive already searched alot before i asked this and ive gotten really far with the information ive gathered but the only thing i couldnt find was how many bolts are there in the upper intake plenum. I thought there were 4 and i struggleg to get them out but when i went to pull the intake up nothing moved. I already removed everything else. Also if someone can draw a diagram of where they are at would be great. Thanks in advance guys.

You did remove the braces from the back didn't you?

They don't connect to the upper intake plenum.

Thanks man that does help and I think I see the bolt that i missed. I knew about the braces on the lower plenum but i didnt think there was any on the upper. Thought i might have missed them.

Sorry, I mis-read your post, thought you meant the whole thing.

There are 5 that connect the upper plenum to the lower. There is also a brace on the front under the throttle cable.

I believe there are 6 that connect the lower to the head, and then 2 for the braces.
