It sounds like it may be coming from the transmission.. its like as if hmm..

say if you had a exhaust leak and bolted a piece of metal over it and it just and the bolts came loose and it was vibrating.

It's been doing it forawhile and I don't know what it is i'll get a clip of the sound soon, any idea what it could be?

I also think it maybe be loose tranny bolts because when i go to reverse from first I can feel a little movement.. my master cylinder is leaking a little amount don't know if that could be it.

any suggestions?

^theres the link, watch at the end of the video you can hear the noise( i got the clutch replaced thats what the original problem was but I still have the rambling noise)

What is it?

Sounds like your throwout bearing is on it's way out. And the soft pedal feel and fluid on the floor under the clutch pedal is an indicator that you need a new Clutch Master Cylinder.

The cylinder complete from napa is $85

Rebuild kit from napa is $17 with the piston. (this is for the more experienced tech's if you're not confident or don't have the right tools to disassemble/reassemble don't go this route, you'll just end up frustrated).

Sounds like a great time to do a clutch and clutch master cylinder. While you're your at it do the restrictor removal mod from the slave cylinder (if unfamiliar do a search there is a write up on here somewhere).

I find new stuff on here everyday, now if I only had the manual transmission installed I would have something to do today. Here's the link, took forever for me to find it too.

I think i've found the problem, the rambling is probably my loose alternator. It's really loose I need to tighten it I think when I rev the rambling is from the belt that moves the alternator. I'll tighten it tonight after work and let you guys know. I realized when I traced down the sound by ear then I felt around and it seems to be loose.

Oh so that's why you called it a rambling noise. It rambled over from one side of the engine to the other :P .

Let us know how that works out. If not, I hope you didn't put a Spec clutch in there.......

Thats what it was, there was a bolt missing from the alternator. (The one that holds it on the two pivot points)

I'm excited that rambling sounded like something scary!
I was fearing it could have been something in the engine tapping.

But yea, I just got a bolt from the garage and a wash tightened it on there sounds so much better now.:)
