120177, Runs rough on warm start in cold weather?? Posted by spartan, Jan-28-07 11:22 AM
Ok I am having this annoying issue with my car right now. I live in Michigan and it is finally getting cold here so of course something starts going wrong with my car. The car runs great when started cold, the problem is after it has already reached temperature and then is shut off and started again within maybe an hour. It will fire right up and then start chugging really bad and idling like it has some bad ass cam in it, except it doesn't. The car is bone ass stock. It will chug for about 30-45 seconds upon starting the car, or it will quit if I rev it a few times (4k or so). I put new plugs and wires in this summer. The car already has a cel for the infamous code 31 which I can't/ haven't really tried to find the cause of. Last time it did this I checked and there were no other codes. Any body have any ideas...

Make sure your air filter is clean, also make sure that your throttle body and the plate is nice and clean as well.
