120033, So happy fixed my CEL! NOT now code 51 &21!!! Posted by spartan, Feb-14-07 11:27 AM
Just wanted to share that after having my cel for over 6 months (p4055- large evap leak) and cranking the damn fuel cap like 4 times around everytime I got gas, I decided to get a new fuel cap. AND IT WORKED! I was totally thinking that it was going to be something else but I picked it up from autozone for like $6 and I tell you it has been the best $6 I have spent on this car! Finally no more CEL!!! (note: knock on wood, because it will more than likely come back on tomorrow for something else) Sorry I just wanted to share how excited I was.

I can't beleive that I jinx myself that bad but I did. Not even 3 hours after I posted it came back on again. This time I did the keydance and got code 51, 21, and 21 again. I see that they are lean condition, and a heated o2 sensor? So today while driving the cel will randomly flicker and then the rpms will drop. It does it when I am driving or idling, making me stall a couple of times. The idle is a little higher to, normally around 800 today it was 1000-1100. I am completely stock, and put new plugs and wires in about 10,000 miles ago. Oh and a new gas cap... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will be pissed if it is, that thing has less than 10k on it. Thanks for the help, I will check it out. Is it true that on 97+ models the front and rear are the same?
