Well subject says it all.. I've got a coolant leak and can't pinpoint the location. About a month ago I replaced my thermostat cause it was busted, and while I was at it, I replaced my upper radiator hose cause it had seen it's better days. Now, for the past few days I'm getting a coolant leak somewhere around the radiator itself. It leaks on to the top of the passenger side fan, and a little bit on the fan blade itself. I checked the upper radiator hose and it's definitely not coming from there. Its not gushing or anything, just enough so I can smell it, and occasionally see the steam through the cracks of the hood. Does this sound like a cracked radiator? I can't find any other signs of leakage other than around that fan. I think tomorrow I'll take that fan off and see if I can see any better, but do you have any ideas or other thoughts?

check the thermostat housing gasket, it could be leaking there and running down the upper hose/dripping on the fan.

you also might have cracked the housing (it happens)

Thanks for the reply! I checked it out, and everything around the housing and upper hose is dry. I may try to take some pics so you can see how the coolant is pooling up on the fan. I can't really find a trail of it, it just kinda piles up in certain spots.

try revving up the engine with the throttle body while looking around the radiator, it will be more likely to gush out at higher rpms. that's how i discovered my heater hose was busted. Good luck.

Agree. Some leaks dont show till high rpms/boost due to the pressure.

This is more so for hoses. I had a hard time finding a tiny leak, Turned out to be the hose above the exhaust manifold had a crack the size of a pen tip.

if the lower hose isn't tight enough, the leak runs all the way to fan. I had tha problem
