Hey guys my stock fuel pump just went and I want to put a walbro 255 because i plan on adding a turbo kit in a few months. Will my car fun like normal if i just change the pump now before i change anything eles in the car?

just put some dynamat on the cover and around the floor pan in that area, a $20-30 speaker kit will do the job nicely!

I re-wired my fuel pump a few days ago and it actually made my 255 quieter. That's another option to consider as well.

am I the only one that kinda likes the whine of the walbro?

the whine is fine, just a little quieter :7

I like it because you know it is on.

do the re-wire mod and it will quiet it down a bit.. its not bad at all.

It sounds good like a modified car should! Everyone should just learn to love it. Or do a rewire kit or dynamat like said to quiet it a little.

Please don't do that.

You need to cut the factory fuel lid, not the bracket.
