can somone lead me in a good direction for used 420a motors?i found some junk yards that were selling them as low as 800 bucks but i dont really want to count on junkyard motors.any info will help

Autotrader is good for finding those horribly mutilated cars with the 420a and tranny untouched. Some are as low as $500. You get most of a car and a motor for that much!

You can probably snag a 2.0 short block from a sebring, avenger, or neon pretty cheap if you ask for that.

so true, even at dodge/chrysler dealers saying a sebring or avenger instead of eclipse or talon can make a difference, same part, diff packaging diff price
