ok so i asked dino yesterday about a burnt rubber smell coming from my engine...

then he said it could be my acc belt.. cuz it got hard and its sqeaking and burning the belt..

now when i look under the hood the belt looks fine..

but a small prob i have had in the past few days was my hvac guage lights just wouldnt come on... (if i put the heat on really fast they would just come on)

sometimes my indiglow guages just wont work.. but then just come on..

now this morn my hvac ones wouldnt work and my radio face wouldnt light up at all.. i mean if i hit a button on it .. it will light up but then turn off..

now im wondering if my alternator was messed up or it might have been the belt..

im still kinda shabby on under the hood stuff..

so any help would be helpful in lamens terms please.. pics help too of where to look.. i might have my alt checked 2night..

if its the acc belt how hard is it to change by myself?
