118847, Help with fuse situation Posted by red-cruzer99, Jun-22-07 11:16 AM
Today as i was changing a new battery I accidentally connected the positve wires to the negative side of the battery....the horn went off and the car made some noises....Now my power locks, radio, and interior lights wont work. The thing is that the fuses for those 3 things are fine, but they still dont work. What is causing the failure even though the fuses are fine?

You may have blown your ECU as well as other things.

Well thankfully it is not the ECU because the car still runs fine. It is just those 3 things: power locks, interior lights, and radio...and the fuses are fine.

You got lucky.
Time to get out the multi meter and start checking circuits.
