Posted by vegasdsmr, Jan-10-02 05:18 PM
i searched for a writeup on the throttlebody install, and to no avial.

i need the size and name of the wrench, i think its called a torx wrench that is used to get the sensors off the throttle body.

its pretty straight forward.i havent installed the bored one yet, but the stock one was easy to get off, 2 bolts i think like 12 or 13 mm.

the sensors have clips on them, i labeled them top, and bottom.

when taking off the sensors, be careful to not strip the female part on the screw. i busted a bolt on one of the sensors, but was able to jerry rig it with a bolt and a nut.
i twisted the first torx wrench i bought at an auto store, went to home depot with the t/b, and got a stonger torx driver that pulled the remaining screws out.

pretty easy mod, waiting for it to come back from howell was the worst part. ill post my gains once all of my projects are finished for this weekend.
