Mine are leaking pretty bad. I bought a head gasket from parts dinosuar but it's just that gasket and not the complete kit....durr.
I need to know asap. Next week, the head comes off and I finish up "stage 0" so i can put money towards other things like boost.

Yay. Cheap to the max.
To save myself some trouble, i think i'll do the valve cover gasket first and do a compression check. I have the parts on the way (including a new timing belt) but i'd just rather have everything i need.
Should i be able to reuse the gaskets (vc and plug wells) should my comp test come up sour?

Depending on the condition of the gaskets you might be able to reuse them. If your going to put a new timing belt on I would wait until thats on to put on the new VC gasket.

I'm using a brand new felpro valve cover gasket set.
I'm re-using it should i have to take my head off my block.
Should i have to take my head off my block, the old timing belt will have to come off anyway........
Order of operations. It looks like rain right now so i'm going to check the weather and start on this as soon as my coffee kicks in.
